Sherine Abdel Wahhab was born on October 8, 1980 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. She started her artistic career with Free Music by its owner, Nasr Mahrous, in early 2000 with the song “Ah Ya Lail”, but it was not her first song, as she appeared with singer Mohamed Mohi in a lyrical duet entitled “You Are the Lover of the Eye and the Heart” before she participated with Tamer Hosni and acted with Ahmed Helmy in Mido movie Problems, and as a result of some disagreements, the contract between her and Free Music was terminated in 2006, and she completed her artistic career with Rotana since 2007.
In 2019, Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab was permanently suspended from singing.
Personal and emotional life
She married the music distributor Medhat Khamis, whom she met after the success of her first album, but he became violent to her until she began to think of separating from him, and she aborted her fetus from him, which she later regretted, and after 6 months of disputes, problems, discounts and courts, she divorced him. Later on, he married Ruwaida Al-Mahrouqi, and there were problems between them as well. In 2006, Sherine married businessman Ahmed Ghazali, and quickly separated from him. In 2007, she married the composer and music arranger, Mohamed Mustafa, with whom she had two daughters, Maryam and Hana, and they divorced after 5 years. In 2018, she married singer Hossam Habib.
