Sherif Ramzy was born on January 1, 1981 in Egypt. He is the son of producer Mohamed Hassan Ramzy, the grandson of the artist Salah Zulfiqar, and his aunt is the retired actress Hoda Ramzy. He studied fine arts at Helwan University. He entered the artistic field in 2001, presented by producer Esaad Younis in his first film, Asrar al-Banat, in the role of a young teenager. He succeeded in this film, and then launched into the world of cinema, series, and sitcoms.
He was married to Menna, the daughter of actor Hussein Fahmy and actress Mervat Amin, and their marriage lasted three years, then they separated without having children, and on May 1, 2015, his marriage to Egyptian actress Reham Ayman was announced.
