Randa Maraashly was born on June 7, 1976 in Damascus, the capital of Syria. She is one of the distinguished Syrian actresses. She participated in several series, such as Dreams Don’t Die, Zarfa But, Hammam al-Qishani, Warud fi Turbat al-Maleh, and Hayy al-Mazar.
Randa Maraashly married Tariq Maraashly, gave birth to Haya Maraashly, then divorced him and married Nawras Abboud since 2003.
Randa Maraashly suffered from a terminal liver disease, and the disease was discovered at a late stage. She was admitted to the Italian Hospital in the Syrian capital, Damascus, after her health condition deteriorated and she entered a coma. Then, her death was announced on October 21, 2015, at the age of 42.
