Rachid Taoussi was born on February 6, 1956 in Tafraout, Morocco. He is a former Moroccan football player. He has been the coach of the Moroccan national team since September 22, 2012. He also coaches the Royal Army Club since July 2012, combining the two tasks at least until January 2012.
He started his career as a player with Ittihad Sidi Kacem Club in 1977, then he joined the Royal Army Club in 1989, after which he returned to his first club, after which he retired.
