Mila Kunis was born on August 14, 1983 in Chernautsi, Ukraine, to a Jewish family. Her mother, Elvira, a physics teacher and drug store manager, and her father, Mark Kennis, a mechanical engineer and taxi driver, has one older brother. Her family has moved to Los Angeles. Los Angeles, California, USA, in 1991 Mila says that she learned English by watching the competition program “The Price is Right.” In Los Angeles, she joined Hubert Hugh Bancroft Middle School and received her high school lessons, recording episodes of “That’s 70 Show.” She was not registering, she attended her classes at “Fairfax Senior High School” and joined some time at “Loyola Marymount University” in Los Angeles, California.
At the age of nine, Mila attended acting lessons after school at Beverly Hills Studios, where she first met her current manager, Susan Curtis. She began appearing on some print ads, catalogs, and some television ads for some children’s products, such as “Lisa Frank” products, “Mattel Barbie” dolls, and “By Lees” shoes. She also appeared in Guess fashion show for children’s clothes. She is best known for her role on the TV series “That’s 70 Show” as Jackie Burckhardt and also for her voice acting as Meg Griffin in the cartoon series Family Guy. She also appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall as Rachel Jansen and Mona Sachs in Max Bean. In addition to acting, she appeared as a model in several video clips, and also embodied some video game characters.
