Marwa Nasr was born on June 24, 1989 in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. She loved music since her childhood, and began learning to play the oud at an early age, then joined the Higher Institute of Music to study music and voice. She participated in the Star Academy talent discovery program in its third season. In 2006, however, she was unable to obtain the title, and she began her artistic career by releasing the album (Seneen).
She married producer Mohamed Allam in 2012.
