Elizabeth Taylor was born on February 27, 1932 in London, the capital of England, United Kingdom, to a wealthy family who immigrated to the United States immediately after the outbreak of World War II. Her father is a British art dealer, her mother is American, and she has dual British and American citizenship.
She started her artistic career in 1942 through the movie National Velvet at the age of 12, then she aroused everyone’s attention with her wonderful performance and femininity in the movie Sinita at the age of 15, and at the age of 19 she presented the movie A Place Under the Sun, but her real fame began. Through the movie Cleopatra, where she played the role of Cleopatra in it, and received one million dollars for it. She was nicknamed “Hollywood’s pet cat”.
She had a close relationship with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and defended him during his trial for child molestation.
