Dina Haroon was born on December 24, 1973 in Latakia, Syria. She is considered one of the most beautiful Syrian artists on the artistic scene, and she is the sister of actress Tolay Haroun.

Dina Haroun began her artistic career in the year 2000 in the series Al-Maraya with the able actor Yasser Azma, and she succeeded in proving her talent among the giants of the Syrian art and achieved great successes, so many Syrian stars participated in some works that met with great success and also participated in some Gulf works.

Dina Haroun presented a group of works, including: Our Deferred Dreams, Talk of Mirrors, Time of Silence, Soft Thorns, Lords of Money and Junk, The Red Line, Forbidden Bread, and the Tiredness of the Journey, in addition to School Days.

Dina Haroun got married and had one son (3 years old in 2018), and she was absent from the Syrian drama during this period.

Dina Haroun passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Al-Assad University Hospital in the capital, Damascus, after suffering from an illness that forced her into intensive care. After she was unable to breathe due to some infections in her lungs, according to some sources. And her sister, artist Tolay Haroun, had previously published an explanation about the reality of Dina’s illness, as a result of which she entered intensive care, explaining that Dina suffered from respiratory problems in her chest and an intestinal problem.
