Biography, Life story

Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in Mississippi, United States, and raised in Louisiana. Second child of Lenny Ernie and James Pearl Spears. Of strong English roots through her grandmother, who was born in London, she has two brothers, Brian James and Jamie Lynn.

Britney has been singing since she was a child, a leading actress in school plays and on television. At the age of three, Britney began taking dance lessons in Louisiana, and was chosen to perform at many events. As a child, she also attended a gymnastics club, took singing lessons, and won several awards at the state level.. Britney started locally at the age of five and sang “What Child Is This?” in kindergarten. She said about her passion when she was young, “I was in my own world… I found what I wanted to become at an early age.” At the age of eight, Britney and her mother, Lenny, traveled to Atlanta for an audition in the 1990s for the Mickey Mouse House Club. Director Matt Cassella rejects Britney because she is young at the time, but introduces her to Nancy Carson, a talent agent in New York. Carson was impressed with Britney’s voice and abilities and suggested that she enter a conservatory of music: soon after, Lenny and her two daughters moved into an apartment in New York. Britney landed her professional debut in a leading role in the Broadway musical Ruthless!. She also appeared as a contestant on the popular talent show Star Search, as well as in many TV commercials. In December 1992 she was accepted into the Mickey Mouse House Club, but returned to Louisiana after the program was cancelled. She then entered Parklin Academy, near Mississippi. Although she made friends with her classmates, she compared school to, “The beginning scene in Clueless… I was so bored. I was on the basketball team at school. I had a boyfriend, I went to a homecoming party and a Christmas party. But I wanted more.”

Signed to Jaffa in 1997, in 1997, Britney was in discussions with manager Lou Pearlman to join a female vocal group, Innocent. Lenny asked family friend and lawyer Larry Rudolph’s opinion of Brittney and her singing, and attached it to a tape in which Britney sings a song by Whitney Houston with some pictures. Rudolph decided to put her in a record company, to record songs professionally. He sent her a song that Toni Braxton didn’t sing: Britney rehearsed it for a week and superimposed her voice over the song with the help of the company’s acoustic professionals. Britney flew to New York with the song, met scouts from the record label, and flew back to Louisiana the same day. 3 of the discoverers rejected it, especially since the audience was asking for dance songs such as the songs of the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls, and “a new Madonna, a new Odebi Gibson, a new Otifani, was not supposed to appear.” Another two weeks and then Jive’s record label contacted her. Vice President of A&R Jeff Fenster said of Britney’s audition, “It was very rare to hear someone of his age who could convey emotion in this way… For any artist, the boldness—the eye of the tiger—is very important. And Britney had that eye.” They gave her dates to work with producer Eric Foster, who developed her voice from “low” to “structured”. After listening to the first sample, the president, Clive Cladder, agreed to produce a full album. The plan at first was “Sheryl Crow, but with a youthful format and youthful contents.” But after studying with the producers, it changed to “Pop because she can dance to it, to make it alive.” Then she flew to Sweden, where she She recorded half of the album from March to April 1998, with producer Max Martin, Deniz Pop, Ramy Yacoub and many more.

After Britney returned to the United States, Britney began touring advertising in preparation for her next album in shopping malls. The show consisted of 4 songs and was supported by two background dancers. Her first gig was opening for the band In Sync.

In her first decade in the music world, she became an unforgettable figure both in the public sphere and in her personal life as well. Her first and second albums established her as an unforgettable hit and broke sales records, while the singles “Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again” became international number one hits. She became one of the artists who revolutionized the pop world in the late 1990s.
