Ahlam Al Shamsi was born on February 12, 1969 in the village of Busaiteen in the city of Muharraq, Bahrain. She raised a child there, where her mother is also located, and she studied her elementary and preparatory stage in Muharraq schools. She is from an Emirati father and a Bahraini mother. Her father, Ali Al Shamsi, was a popular artist. She began to sing at Gulf weddings around the year 1987 AD. later in 1994 she became a famous singer until now. In 2003, Ahlam married the star of Qatari rally cars, Mubarak Al-Hajri, with whom she gave birth to a son named Fahd, born in 2004, and a daughter named Fatima, born in 2008, and Lulwa, born in 2010.
